Are paper towels sufficient for a rough green snake? Are minnows okay to feed them?

I am looking for some solid information on a rough green snake. I have been reading a lot about them, and some of the info doesn't match up. For example, whether they are okay to be handled. Some say they wiggle a lot and don't like to be held, while others say they are fine to be held and should be held daily to keep them sociable. Any help would be appreciated.
