Fact of the matter remains that Ireland is a weak team. The England win was a rare exception. They lost to Bangladesh too. They could not qualify for quarterfinals. Any team that cannot defeat Bangladesh is not worthy of world cup consideration. From the audience point of view, heavily one sided games are a waste of time and money. The minnow teams performed very poorly and just 1 win against England isn't enough for them to prove their case.
