My Ethiopian exchange student pooed on the floor what should I do?

He isn't listening to my orders he is just making click clack noises with his mouth, I caught him lying on the couch when i got home so I swat him with a belt, I put out a dirty dog bed for him to sleep on but he isn't using it. As I said in the question he pooed on the floor so how am I supposed to punish him? Rub it in his face? make him eat it? Taze him?
