Does gravity travel faster then light?

Im defiantly winging it on this one but after researching a little and trying to get a better understanding of black holes,i thought about how not even light can escape a black hole because of the intensity of the gravity,and by theory of Einstein and hawking,gravity does have a speed. now uming that there are black holes,wouldn't this mean that gravity travel faster then light to be able to suck it in?
